Being proactive is a decision and not a coincidence. Wherever I am and whatever I do, I am focusing on presence meanwhile searching for solutions for tomorrow.
I have always been characterised by opposing poles: even at school loving maths and chemistry, did not stand in the way for developing passion for arts. Most probably I ‘inherited’ my holistic way of thinking from my parents. When I start something, I like to firstly familiarise myself fundamentally with the subject matter. I am certain that without a basic understanding of the problem at hand, it is impossible to develop a suitable solution.
I am a designer who contextualises the logical and the freely creative. I grew up in Latvia, but I completed my bachelor’s degree in Germany and since than I have been working as a freelancer in the sportswear sector. In my work, I love to deal with the functionality of the product in combination with formal-aesthetic minimalist realisation possibilities. I am not enthusiastic about the purely superficial. Creating new connections, maintaining an overview and not losing the relevance of the work I am doing: that is my motto.
